I have also completed additional training in other models of therapy such as CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and Solution Focused Therapy. As such I can work both as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and an Integrative Therapist dependant on need. I have experience and training working with ADHD and ASD clients whom need support with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
I have a specific interest and have had additional training in supporting adults with ADHD.

My approach to therapy is to complete an initial full assessment of your difficulties and collaboratively develop a formulation (a picture of what is going on for you). Assuming that my approach is the right option for you we would then create a therapy plan together including your goals for our work and then commence with therapy. If it was felt that ongoing sessions are not appropriate, I may offer advice around what sort of work would meet your needs, self-help and signposting.
Sessions:
Sessions will be 50 minutes in length and on a weekly basis but we will discuss what will work best for you. The number of sessions will depend on the nature of your needs and the agreed therapy plan, on average CBT sessions often range anywhere between 6 – 24 sessions.
You will be asked to create goals and complete symptom questionnaires to support our tracking of progress and to help determine length of therapy. We will have open communication and discuss therapeutic endings and decide an end date collaboratively. You do however have a right to end therapy at any point.
Sessions will be delivered via an online platform such as MS Teams or Write Upp Video Consultation you will need to have access to a confidential and quiet space for sessions.
Please note; I currently do not offer face-to-face sessions however this may change.
Thinking about starting therapy can be daunting and overwhelming. If you would like to ask any questions please do not hesitate to email me on;
Alternatively book in for a free 15 minute consultation call (by emailing me) where we can have an informal chat and think about whether therapy is right for you and whether I am the right fit to be your Therapist.
An initial contact to ask questions, get a sense of one another and to find out if an assessment session is right for you.
Format: Phone
Assessment sessions are to understand your difficulties and consider if we are the right fit for each other and whether CBT/integrative therapy is going to meet your needs. Having an assessment does not guarantee ongoing sessions will be offered and no diagnoses will be given. If appropriate I may discuss signposting and advice if it is felt CBT/Integrative therapy is not appropriate.
Format: Online/Video Consultation

I can offer specific phobia support including face-to-face exposure sessions for dog phobias. These must be part of ongoing work and would be considered on a case-by-case basis. Geographic location would also need consideration as I am based in Coventry.
Please note prices are subject to annual changes.
If you wish to cancel a session please inform me as soon as possible. If less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is given by you then you will still be charged for that session.
If I am not able to offer a session due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternate time.
