I have worked with many Children and Young People in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) over the last 6 years. I can adapt my style of therapy to meet your needs but I really like thinking about being creative in sessions.
I can work with a wide range of difficulties including; Anxiety, Depression/Low Mood, OCD, Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Anger, Phobias.
I also have experience working with children and young people with ADHD and ASD whom have emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
I tend to start therapy by asking a few questions to build a bit of a picture of what’s going on for you and then work with you to understand what you would like to change/ think about in our sessions.

If you feel like you would like to then see me some more we will come up with a plan together and have weekly sessions working on things you might find difficult or tricky.
You might be wondering where your parent/carers are during all this? Well, its up to you! Some children and young people like to have their parents/carers involved and come to their sessions whilst others prefer to have a space just for them – either is fine and we’ll talk about it in our first session.
Sessions will normally be 50 minutes in length and on a weekly basis. The number of sessions will depend on what you want to achieve and what’s going on for you. On average, sessions usually range anywhere between 6 – 24 sessions. There may also be activities and tasks for you to do in between sessions too.
When we are nearing the end of our work together we will have a chat about ending our work but it will never be sprung on you and you will be part of the decision of when to end therapy. Of course you can end therapy at any point if you feel it’s just not for you.
Our sessions will be online and so making sure you have somewhere comfortable, quiet and private is the best.
Please note; I do not currently offer face-to-face sessions but this may change.
Thinking about starting therapy can be daunting and overwhelming. If you would like to ask any questions please do not hesitate to email me or ask your parent/carer to email me on;

An initial contact to ask questions, get a sense of one another and to find out if an assessment session is right for you.
Format: Phone
Assessment sessions are to understand your difficulties and consider if we are the right fit for each other and whether CBT/integrative therapy is going to meet your needs. Having an assessment does not guarantee ongoing sessions will be offered and no diagnoses will be given. If appropriate I may discuss signposting and advice if it is felt CBT/Integrative therapy is not appropriate.
Format: Online/Video Consultation
Format: Online/Video Consultation this includes any parent support sessions as requested.
I can offer specific phobia support including face-to-face exposure sessions for dog phobias. These must be part of ongoing work and would be considered on a case-by-case basis. Geographic location would also need consideration as I am based in Coventry.
For ongoing clients I can offer supporting letters, observation reports, support packs etc. These will be at an admin charge per document/item.
Please note prices are subject to annual changes.
If you wish to cancel a session please inform me as soon as possible. If less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is given by you then you will still be charged for that session.
If I am not able to offer a session due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternate time.
